What is with all this fear that psychedelics trigger psychosis? It's irrational and unscientific. The only link there is LSD-triggered psychosis, which has an incidence of around 8 out of every 10,000 LSD users - all of whom have latent psychosis already.

We have several years of people actively using Salvia and no indication of any serious harms - no serious injuries or deaths, and no evidence of toxicity in the animal studies that have been performed. It's clearly non-addictive. The putative assumption remains though that anything that gets people high is eo ipso harmful.

People should stop being such scaredy-cats. Certainly harms have not been established to a degree that warrants pre-emptive legal restriction of these substances.

BZP may be another matter. Not sure about the piperazines.
