Most propaganda comes from the USA and has absolutely no scientific backing. That is the nature of propaganda, though. BZP, by simple examination, is safer than amphetamine and is less addictive. It's only illegal here (no matter how easy it is to make for ordinary horse dewormer) because it works on the reward system of the brain (dopamine). There is a little euphoria involved. This fascist country was founded and is still run by complete and total morons who think (because of their religious bullshit) that anything that makes you feel good is "bad." Amerika is the new nazi Germany. I wish there was a power that could rise up and destroy it.

That is pretty interesting. You don't see much on BZP in the news. Thanks!

What is with all this fear that psychedelics trigger psychosis? It's irrational and unscientific. The only link there is LSD-triggered psychosis, which has an incidence of around 8 out of every 10,000 LSD users - all of whom have latent psychosis already.

We have several years of people actively using Salvia and no indication of any serious harms - no serious injuries or deaths, and no evidence of toxicity in the animal studies that have been performed. It's clearly non-addictive. The putative assumption remains though that anything that gets people high is eo ipso harmful.

People should stop being such scaredy-cats. Certainly harms have not been established to a degree that warrants pre-emptive legal restriction of these substances.

BZP may be another matter. Not sure about the piperazines.
