Who are you? What is your purpose? And, What is all this stuff?

I wondered if I had a special purpose in life when I was a young shy puppy of a human. Then I discovered that my purpose lie in breathing, living arduously, and facing the environment with no fear. We are all the most naked animals on earth. An endangered species. So I feel my purpose is that. I am you, and you are me. Unless of course you are another species. But then we would still be on the same boat.

And what is all this stuff for? Some of it arose from desire, like plastics and bullets. But the majority of it was created by the universe. If the universe is building up to producing more and more complex machines and organic entities then the next step must be toward further expansion. We as terrans have evolved to the side step of what is inevitable to carry on life as some of us know it.

The next step will be a homocyber species. Whose, fundamental instinctual nature it will allow it to transverse lands we could only imagine. For us these things take time. For the machine, the mundane rituals of expressing thought through fingers on a keypad will become one movement.

And wisdom is sweet. And freedom.
